Pumpkin has a much better name now. It's Cooper. Doesn't he look so happy in his new home? A bed......... toys........ what a life!!!!!
I wasn't sure how to rotate this photo. But you get the gist...... Cooper is one happy dawg!!!!!

Our first litter of puppies have all been sold. They all have wonderful homes. I'm so happy with all the families that adopted them.

We anticipate having another litter next year.

Thank you to all who browsed, called, and adopted. I am 100% sure that this is the best breed on the planet!!!!!

It's been a bittersweet week here at Rocky Ridge Farm. Two of our babies went to live at their new homes. I'm so happy with our owners so far. I'm positive that these beauties will have very happy and long lives.

Our third pup is sold. However we are keeping it a secret until after Christmas. (shhhhhh) So, if you are good at math, that means we only have one baby left....... Boo-Boo.

Boo-Boo is our second largest male of the litter. At 8 weeks he weighs over 20 pounds. We may start call him a moose instead of mastiff. He has tons of extra skin around his head. Large paws and great personality.
My son wanted to hold him while he watched t.v.. I thought that it would be a great photo opportunity for our fellow blog readers.
Boo-Boo is mellow, much like his daddy T-bone. He reminds me of a big teddy bear.

Rick and I were worried about the babies being in the barn during this bitter cold. Even though we have given them lots of bedding and heat lamps. So we brought them in the house last night. They are loving all the extra cuddling. (we are enjoying it too)

Rick is 6 foot 3 inches. That puts into perspective how gigantic these guys are.

Pumpkin and Gracie are quite the buddies. I hope that Pumpkin goes to a home with children. His has such a sweet disposition. He and Spook (our fawn female) are always the first to snuggle and kiss you.

I thought this was such a funny picture of Pumpkin. He just ate so his belly is full. Pumpkin, you're a doll!!!
This is our female, we call her Spook. Not because she is spooky. Just because we couldn't think of a better Halloween name for her. At least not one that fit her sweet personality. I hope her new owners will give her a pretty name.

We are approaching the final days with these little ones. Only Pumpkin and Boo-Boo are available.

We had our first snow during the night. Our kids are itching to get out and play in it. The weatherman is calling for lots more tonight and tomorrow. I guess that I need to make a trip to the store and stock up on mittens and hot cocoa.

They wanted to follow me everywhere. Everytime I knelt down to snap a picture, they would bolt under my legs. I'm not sure if they were wary of the snow or my indoor bulldog.

This puppy is a male. He is a fawn, just like his mommy He is gigantic and as you can see by his face, he LOVES snow!!!!

We call him Boo-Boo. Are you noticing a pattern? Boo-boo, Pumpkin, Spook. Yes, they were born very near to Halloween, so they all got Halloween names. I really wasn't supposed to name them at all. Rick was afraid if I did, that I wouldn't sell any. He he. These are just temporary names.

Gus can be overbearing at times.

However, they became buddies pretty quickly.

You can see Spooks head in this picture. In person she isn't this dark. I'm having trouble telling what her color is though. Most of the time she seems to be a darker fawn. But in this picture, she looks like a light apricot.

Here is another picture of the female. However, I'm not too proud of how it turned out. She is a big girl. Weighing almost 16 pounds. You cannot tell it in this picture but she has lots of loose skin and a big mastiff head. She is going to be stunning as an adult.

This puppy we call Pumpkin. He is our only "for sure" apricot. I think he is going to look a lot like his daddy. He is still for sale. We are asking $750.00 for him.

This is the welcome that I get every time I visit the barn.

Before we went to the vet, I let them step in the grass. We had a cold front move in this week. So it was frosty and a little crunchy. My kids and I loved watching their reactions. Not only was this the first time their feet have touched the earth, IT WAS COLDDDDDD! Poor Pumpkin (as we call him) on the left looks like he's a tad uncomfortable. hehe!!!

Their paws are gigantic. If they ever grow into these feet they will be HUGE!!!!

The puppies are growing by leaps and bounds. I love how their personalities are developing now. They are all unique. (Just like my kids)

I took them to our vet yesterday for shots and their second round of worming. He put them all in a tub and averaged their weight. It came to nearly 15 pounds. I nearly fell over!!!!! I'm friends with several of the employees that work there. They all grabbed a pup and snuggled. Oh my goodness, these lil' guys are going to be spoiled rotten!!!!!

T-bone (a.k.a. the daddy)

This little man rode first class all the way to town. There wasn't enough room for all four of them in the tub, so he got to sit on my lap. I had the heated seats on. He was loving life!!!!! I must admit that I was too.

Look at all those wrinkles that he has to grow into. Wow!!!

They are eating dry food now. That was our goal!!! We still give them wet food morning and night. We want these guys to reach their full growth potential. They are fully weined from momma. We leave water out for them at all times (along with dry food).

Four weeks old

Our babies are now eating puppy food. We mix ground Science Diet puppy and puppy milk replacement. We laughed at them the first time they tried it. Whew, what a mess. But now they are experts. They devour every last drop without spilling or stepping in it.

They love to be held and are super snugly. Especially after they eat and their bellies are fat.

We are noticing huge changes in them daily. They average between 7 and 8 pounds each.

Their skin is loose and their feet are gigantic. These are going to be massive Mastiffs!

We introduced T-bone (Daddy) to his babies tonight. He is such a easy going dog. Not even quadruplets excite him!!!! I sure hope that each of these babies has his sweet disposition. He is such a good guy!!!!

I'm positive that each of these babies are going to be wonderful pets!!!!

Four thriving bundles of joy

We are so very proud of our first ever litter of puppies. Jesse and T-bone are beaming parents to four chubby, growing, and sweet little bundles of fur. Jesse has proved to be a devoted mother and we are so proud of her as we are learning alongside her.

One day old

It seems like yesterday when we brought T-bone home to join our family. He was a surprise birthday present for our then 5 year old. He is a devoted pet to our family and has the sweetest disposition I have ever seen in a dog. He knows tricks, loves car rides, likes getting brushed, and knows exactly where the treat jar is. People can be intimidated by his size, but he is as his breed suggests, "A Gentle Giant".

Jesse Jane came to live with us two years later. She is a beautiful fawn with a gorgeous head. She loves her neck scratched, DOESN'T like car rides, and playing with her food dish after she empties it. Jesse is a striking fawn. I love her tender personality. She is a caring mother and has our family in awe of her puppy rearing!

Tender moments

We have two wonderful dogs and are so happy to pass on their fine offspring to other loving homes. Our babies are four weeks old today and they are growing by leaps and bounds. It's truly amazing to watch how much they have grown. Our family has spent hours every day cuddling their momma and them. So, we are confident that they will be gentle to whomever takes them home.
